Welcome to American Montessori Academy! AMA is a tuition-free K-8 public Montessori charter school. All children residing in the state of Michigan are welcome to join our family!
Our school doesn’t just educate preschool through eighth grade students; we empower them to pursue knowledge and own their learning. AMA follows each student’s individual growth from the child's first classroom experience until the child is prepared to move on.

🍎 A Wonderful Day at Wiard’s Orchard!🎃
Our preschoolers had a fantastic time visiting Wiard’s Orchard yesterday! From enjoying the sights and sounds of the orchard to making special memories with their classmates, it was a day full of fun, exploration, and fall excitement. We love seeing our students experience new adventures beyond the classroom! 🍂
A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this special field trip such a memorable experience for our preschoolers! ❤️

We are SO proud of our learners and all the growth, kindness, and learning they’ve shown so far this year! Today, we celebrated their accomplishments, honored our birthday friends, and recognized our Attendance Champs for showing up and shining bright! 🌈✨
We love watching our students grow, learn, and build the character skills that will help them shine both inside and outside the classroom. We can’t wait to celebrate all the amazing things still to come! 🏆🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible AMFO for organizing such a fun and memorable event, and to all of our wonderful volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to help make the our color run a success! 💛
It was so wonderful to see our AMA community come together to celebrate, laugh, and make colorful memories. Events like these would not be possible without the dedication and support of our families, staff, and volunteers, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you!
