Yesterday was one of those heart-bursting, joy-filled days in our First Grade classrooms! 💛✨First grade welcomed our incoming kindergarteners for their transition day, and our current first graders truly rose to the occasion. They were proudly promoted to “Professional First Graders” (complete with official badges!) and took their roles seriously.
Our professionals helped kindergartners build sentences, join a morning meeting, practice classroom routines, and even led tours. They answered questions, offered advice, and modeled what it means to be a first grader with confidence and kindness.
It was so special watching the kindergartners soak it all in while our first graders beamed with pride. One group stepping into something new, the other realizing how much they’ve grown.
