"The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children with factors that may place them at risk of educational failure"
The GSRP staff must have appropriate credentialing and sophisticated knowledge of early childhood education and practice a team approach. Staffing requirements include the necessity of the teaching team, which may include one lead teacher, an associate teacher, and a third adult remaining the same for the entire session, every day the class is scheduled. The classroom teaching team is supported by the active involvement of an ECS.
