The objectives of the American Montessori Family Organization (AMFO) are as follows:

1. To promote a better understanding of all situations involving the education and social welfare of all children attending the American Montessori Academy.

2. To establish a close and working relationship between teachers, parents and the community in general.

AMFO Election Requirements

President: Jennifer Francis

Coordinates and chairs the monthly EAT and AMFO meetings.

Oversees the voting process

Vice President: Marci Cadreau

Backs up the president and all other board members.

Coordinates the activities of the sub-committees.

Emailings and newsletter activities.

Recieves initial requests for AMFO funds.

Secretary: Corey Smith-Stephens

Records and maintains the meeting minutes during both the EAT and AMFO meetings.

Distributes and records the ballots during elections.

Treasurer: Lisa Greene

Keeps track of the AMFO finances.

Processes check requests and all AMFO funds.
